What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
Before receiving transfer from GiveDirectly, my desired had been to built my own house, my kids and I had squatted with family members for so long and this experience was never comfortable. For this reason, since I started receiving payment from GiveDirectly, I started buying building materials using money from every transfer I received. Now with this recent transfer, importantly I used a portion of the money and pay my children's final tuition for the school year. Moreover, some of my transfer was used to pay the contractors their fees. Finally the remaining money was spend on buying food stuff for the household. Thanks to GiveDirectly for making us proud again.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion GiveDirectly has done so much remarkable job. They have brought so much financial relieved and freedoms to us. Our kids are happily in school today because of their humanitarian kindness. With the level of progress made in our various lives with the help of GiveDirectly financial assistance is so much unbelievable. I am very grateful to GiveDirectly entire work force. They worked tirelessly to see the lives of the needy change for the better and for this we're grateful. In my honest judgement, I have not seen anything wrong done by GiveDirectly.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
With so much excitement, I say many thanks to GiveDirectly for this financial opportunity. They are the reason my kids are all in school today and well taking care of. Before, I started receiving transfer from GiveDirectly, I never had a place to stay with my children after their mother passed two years ago. We where always squatting from one family home to another. Interestingly, I started receiving transfers from GiveDirectly, immediately I started buying building materials to built our own house. Therefore, with my new transfer I have not developed any new goal until the competition of my house. On that note, I used a portion of the money and pay my kids final tuition for the school year. Furthermore, I used some and pay the contractors. Finally the balance money was spend on food for my children and I.

In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
As for my personal opinion GiveDirectly is one of the NGOs, that is doing very well for us we the poor people of River Cess County. Nothing I'm seeing GiveDirectly is doing ugly. GiveDirectly is excellent.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Oh wow, I had a very major and excellent goal set in my life for long period of time and a was to build my own house, but unfortunately for me things had been very difficult and disappointing for me and my family. The money in question that GiveDirectly give me was very timely and rewarding for me. My both payments was spend on my building materials Zinc, cement and school fees for the betterment of my children feature. I just want to exstand my appreciation to the family of Give Directly for the kindness to was me and my family wellbeing. God will continue to increase their excellent job done in our Communities by improving our livelihood.

What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I bought one bundle of zinc, some food and also paid my children school fees and bought them their school materials.I also heir some workers to cut my sticks for my house project. I want to start building the house as soon as possible. It's a joy for me to see my dream coming true. It has been a challenge to get my children school fees. Living in someone's house without money is something very embarrassing. I am so glad that i will be completing my project with the help of GiveDirectly cash transfer.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly have done very well. I have long since been suffering with my kids since their mother died. I have been burning charcoal to sustain the family. I never had sleeping place and my children were not in school in the past. Notwithstanding, all of these are now a possible because of GiveDirectly kind gestures. It's amazing the level of help GiveDirectly has render us. I hope to use this opportunity wisely.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The new goal I have now is for me to build my own new house. Previously, my family and I have been living in someone's house. I couldn't even afford to send my kids to school. However, they're now in school because of the cash transfer GiveDirectly send to me. I feel so excited about my new goals. It's been my desire to have a new house. That desire is now a reality.

What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I bought few zinc, paid my children school fees and bought their uniforms each. I also bought gas to saw my planks to build house for my children and myself. Since I lost my wife my children has been my all. I want to have a better house do live in.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
In the past, my children never had clothes to wear and I had never build a house before. After I received my transfer from GiveDirectly I was able to buy them some clothes. I also bought zinc to build my house because that have always been my dream. I wake up every morning and see the changes that this transfer has brought in my life. This has been the biggest difference in my life.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was shocked when I got the alert, because I thought this program was a lie. So when I got the money I was very happy. I lost my wife few months back just before this program. My children were not able to go to school again because their mother was a great help to their education in terms of helping with finance. Now that I have gotten this money my children can now go to school. I am planning on building a house for us, because I have never own one before.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Providing food is not easy for me, sometimes I can go hunting just to put food on the table for me and my children, my brother do help something with feeding.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I started burning coal to sell which has also helped me in getting money, I was able to generate some money from the sales and I really felt happy because of the 10000 Liberian dollars I got.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
The main thing I want to do with this money is to build my house, I cut some stakes already and I have been thinking how to raise money to build my house.
