What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I spent my last transfer on the purchase of cement bags for my house project and bought two bags of rice for feeding at home. It has not been easy for my family and I. Some days my husband and I struggle to find food for the home. When I cash out my last transfer I bought two bags of rice in order to have enough food at home and purchased additional bags of cement for the construction of our house project in Cestos city.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly has done so much for my home that I do not know how to even appreciate the family of GD. It has helped to improve our live through its cash transfer model. And it is my first time to experience such a program by receiving money that I did not work for. Receiving cash directly and phone with sim card are things that I find well about GD. And I am not aware of any unwell things that this organisation is doing or has done.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Really, I do not have any new goal but to continue with my same goal of building a house and providing food at home. It has always been my dream to build a house in Cestos city. Since I bought a land in Cestos city, I had no money to start the construction of a house. I have six living children but only two of them here with me and my husband. Life has been challenging for us (my family and I). We hardly get enough to eat some days. But thanks to GiveDirectly for giving me money to provide food at home and enabling us to start the construction of a new house.

What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I have been longing to build my house and send my children to school. This has been my goals for a very long time. Therefore,I bought two bundles of zinc and zinc nails. I also bought steel rods and other building materials. I am saving my balance transfer to enable me buy twenty bags of cement and food.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my honest judgement,GiveDirectly has done nothing wrong. Infact,I'm happy and grateful to GiveDirectly for this unique opportunity that they have given we the poor people by empowering us with cash to improve our lives.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
No. I had a plan of building house previously but was unable due financial constraints. Building my house and paying my children's school fees has been my worries and challenges in life. However, this transfer from GiveDirectly will make a great impact in my children education and project positively.

What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I bought building materials to begin my house project and also pay my children school fees. I used some of my transfer and bought my kids their school materials. Than, I bought some food for our house which is very important to me. The conditions of the house am currently living in is so bad and shameful. I didn't have any hope of getting money to bring these desire to past. That is not the case currently as I was ableto buy things that I need for building my own house and pay my children school fees.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly directly did well by helping we the poor. They've changed our standards of living and putting smiles on our faces. The condition of the house i live in currently is worst. My kids also couldn't get registered because I could not provide the tuitions earlier. Luckily GiveDirectly visited my village and got me enrolled on this program. What GiveDirectly didn't do well in my opinion is that they should have their own mobile money agents because when we go to cash out our money, the agents takes more money as withdrawal fees and the transportation we spent to collect our transfer is high due to the distance.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Yes! In the past, I had no plans of building a house. However, I now have a new goal. With the help of this money, I'm going to build a new house and give my children the best education for the future. GiveDirectly have made everything simple for me by the help of God. The conditions of my house has been so deplorable. It's a shame to live life in that condition. Currently, I now have a new goal to build me a new house. This hope of having a better house brings me joy daily.

For the past six months the only thing that had brought joy and happiness to me was because my children that are in school all of them got promoted from one class to another.
