How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different from how it was four months ago in that we look healthier and happier. We are now able to eat well and dress nicely. My children are very neat because I recently bought them new clothes. They look brighter and this brings me joy as a mother.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My additional goals for my life for the next four-month is to pay school fees for my daughter who is in college. She had stayed at home for a long time after finishing school and I felt bad seeing her idle with no hope of advancing herself professionally. She almost got into depression and it couldn't take long before she could wrong decisions such as getting married. I am glad Give Directly came at the right time and saved my daughter by giving us hope and a better future.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer is that we can nowadays afford to take a balanced meal. We rarely sleep hungry as we used to when I only depended on casual jobs. The fact that we are able to eat well and my children look healthy is the biggest difference in my life. I feel like its an achievement since providing for my family is not an issue anymore
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I do not expect much change in the next six months because I still have school fees to pay. I have several school children and it would be difficult to start a new project at the moment. Although I am planning to save the little money I get from casual jobs and start an income-generating activity later.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Currently, my children and I can now dress well as we can be able to buy clothes and shoes to look presentable., I can also eat healthy meals each day as we do shopping for a month and the money that I earn from other sources can be used on projects that help in changing our lifestyle. I can also be able to pay school fees for my children who hardly stay at home for more than a day waiting for me to raise their school fees from doing casual work.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal is to save and buy building materials like iron sheets, poles and nails that I plan to use in building a new kitchen as we have a thatched one that leaks whenever it rains.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I am able to do household shopping that lasts me a whole month. My family can now afford to eat healthy food daily. Beforehand my children would go hungry even for days without food. I earned just a little income from casual work it would not be enough most of the time. There is enough food to last us a month in the house, thanks to GiveDirectly transfers.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I shall have bought building materials by saving the transfers and built the kitchen by then. I look forward to having a beautiful kitchen that will be the envy of the entire village.
