How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is different in the last four months in that I was able to buy building materials with ease because of GD transfer. To have all the requirements for putting up the kitchen, I needed a good amount of money which I could not have managed to raise on my own. GD transfers were helpful because I was able to save transfers and buy the building materials I used to put up a new kitchen. I am glad am not a burden to neighbour anymore and our relationship has been restored. He no longer looks down on me and treats me with respect.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal in the next four months is to expand my house. The one I am staying is currently small hence I had to keep my harvest at my neighbour's house. This has cost me my respect with my neighbour and I would not want to go on with that after being such a helpful person to me.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
I have always desired to build a kitchen where my children could sleep and as well as be our cooking place. Since I did not have a good source of income, I was not able to. I used sent my children to my neighbour's house so that they can get a sleeping place. My house too is too small to accommodate us well especially at night. I have been saving my monthly transfers which I used in buying building material such as iron sheets and timber I used in building a new kitchen. I am glad my children don't have to walk at night to find where to sleep because of the kitchen I built with part of my transfers.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to change in the next six months I want to buy building materials such as iron sheets and timber which I will use in expanding my house. The one I have now is not spacious enough and everything in the house is so squeezed. I would want to have some space in the house and move freely.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Currently, my life is different since I have been able to purchase iron sheets with little effort thanks to the transfers. Before I used to work extra hard to be able to get enough for household expenditure and also save some amount for purchasing building materials.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
I have managed to replace the wooden windows that my house had before with steel ones which make my house look more decent and also improve the general security
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My plan is to purchase a second-hand sawing machine for my daughter so that she can start her business within the village. I can not afford a brand new one at the moment due to low income, therefore, the decision to settle for a functional second-hand.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
My family does not have enough piece of land and this has always greatly affected my family's produce. In the last farming season, we were able to combine our monthly transfers and leased a piece of land that we cultivated. We harvested almost triple what our usual harvest has always been and this helped us get through the drought witnessed in the last couple of months. We have managed to sell some of the harvests to take care of our basic household needs.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I want my daughter to come back home from Nyakach where she is currently staying with her aunt. She is a tailor and I would like her to have her own sawing machine so that she can set up a tailoring shop around here. This will mean more income for my family and reduce the burden we currently have of taking care of the family provisions.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Four months ago I had very little money left at my disposal after s[pending what I needed to spend on the family. Once I bought the new window grills, and spend the other portion on buying iron sheets meant for constructing a new house, I would be left with nothing to save. Right now, my needs have in a way gone down so I am able to save my little cash and use it to buy food for my family and also keep some for emergency purposes.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
Right now I am planning to get a few livestock such as sheep or goats that I will rear within my compound for maybe a year or so. I know that they will multi[ply and give birth to young ones that i will eventually sell out and earn some cash in exchange. Eventually I will have enough money to buy cows which is my ultimate goal at the moment.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
I have been able to get new steel windows for my house which were initially wooden windows that left my house at ease of attack or intrusion by thieves. I have also been able to buy several iron sheets that I am now planning to use to erect anew house in the near future. Right now I do not have a kitchen that can serve my wife so most of the time she is forced to either cook within the small house when it is raining outside or alternatively cook outside i the open air.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I know that six months from today i will have been bale to erect the new kitchen structure that will be used by wife in preparing meals for my family. By getting the new building in place, she will not have to strain so much in cooking outside especially during the harsh weather conditions. The structure could also serve as a residential place for my female kids.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship is feeding my family. Since November 2017 there is no much production from the farm and this makes it a hurdle to provide food for my family since I don't have any other source of income.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of the day is in the morning when I and my family wake up fine and in good health.
What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I plan to spend my transfer in buying food especially maize to feed my family, occasionally they skip meals and this makes me a troubled person not able to meet my family needs.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement was getting saved and I realized that everything that happens is by the will of God which encourages me and even though at times my family may go without meals, I know man shall not live by bread alone.
