How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I plan that when I received this money from give directly, I want to rebuild my house so that my house can be in a good condition. I want to buy generator to start my business by charging phones, selling water in this town. I plan to save some of the money to pay the person who will build my house.

Give directly money really benefited me by sending my children to school, rebuilding my house, started a new business and I also saved some of the money to pay the person that is building my house.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was too happy because, my children school fees i could not afford. It was through this transfer that I am able to do those things.

In the past months, I couldn't afford anything for my children to go to school. Right now, my children are in school happily and we all are living a comfortable life.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
If I am bless to receive money from Givedirectly, I intend to start a business. The money that will be generated from the business will help us to fix our house and pay our children school fees. Our house is falling apart right now because we don't have money to repair it. We have to send our children to live and be raise by different people just so that they can get education. It really breaks my heart that I, as a mother I will not be able or is not able to bring up my children the way I want them to grow. Therefore, if the Givedirectly help me with money it will help change whether my children will stay outside and be brought up by different people or their own parents.
What is the happiest part of your day?
What makes us happy since the past six months was when my sister sent me 2,000.00 Liberian dollars on August 17 so that we could buy rice. Though the money came after the July 26 celebration, but it made a significant impact on us because we were able to buy a 25 kg rice.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
One of the major challenges facing us is the lack of money to fix our house and pay for our children school fees on our own. Me and my husband are really suffering. He has to burn char-coal, while I pick kiss-meat for us to survive. This is the reason why we have to send our children away so that they shouldn't grow up like us.
