What did you spend your third transfer on?
My husband had not married me officially that is according to our custom he is supposed to pay dowry to be able to claim me as his wife so we used this last transfer to buy two cows to help him pay my dowry then the rest we have saved up for future use like school fess for our child.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on paying 12,000 KES school fee arrears to get my form four certificate, bought a sack of maize at 4,000 KES, paid 7,000 KES school fee for my child in primary school, seats at 18,000 KES, then used the rest of on food and clothes for my family.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I now have my high school certificate hence I can now get employed as a subordinate staff in an institution. My visitors too don't sit on jerrycans as before now that I have decent and presentable seats.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent half my first transfer on paying my son's school fees and the spent the remaining money on food.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I received my money while preparing dinner and I felt relieved since my son had been sent home for fee arrears and I had no way of getting the money at that moment. I am very grateful to GD.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to join a Teachers Training College and therefore would use the transfer to pay school fees. This has been my dream because through that I'll be able to stand independently.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
I went through hard times when I was in high school and to date I'm so proud of myself to be having a high school certificate at hand, I feel a step ahead.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I'm currently facing hardship to bring up my family, I'm not able to give them all the basic needs required like meals, clothes, school items though I'm trying to offer them my best.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am a food vendor and during the morning hours I tend to get more customers to sell the food to , this is when I'm happier than any other time.
