How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
RE: I am a Hunter, i normally spend a week or days in the bush Huntering, but it didn't give me anything much. My greatest desire is to build my own decent little house where i can also raise my family.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
RE:Givedirectly is doing extremely well for us with this program. Since givedirectly people enter our community they have been kind and good to us, always talking to people nicely and willing to answer our questions.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
RE: I am going to spend the most of my transfer on building my own house. With my transfer i have purchased zincs and nails for the building project which am about to undertake.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
When my house is completed, my new goal is to go back to school. I drop out of college because of money, I am planning on going back to college.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly is doing well because some people who never had helping hand are now able to help themselves by building house, starting new business and sending their children to school. In my mind I have not seeing anything wrong that GiveDirectly is doing.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I am planning to pay workmanship to those who are going to work on my house. The balance I will save it for my school.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
RE: It was a very cool morning I had just return from the bush where I normally go for days to hunt, upon my entry in the town i swift my phone on, which was a normal routine for me everytime I return from the bush. The moment my phone was turn on i saw the massage that I have received money from givedirectly right away smile clouded my face. I was so much overwhelmed with joy that i couldn't hold back the the smile and laughter.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
RE: The taught of having this money gives me a reason to smile everything. It have also make me believe that nothing is impossible on this earth. Givedirectly have given the hopeless hope and the dying a reason to live and because of all this around me my heart keeps dancing.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
RE: I am going to purchase zinc and nails for the construction of my own little house which i didn't think could happen on my own. Before the coming of givedirectly the house am residing in presently is my aunts which she can me to leave at anytime. Having my own house will be better and more respect earning for me, in my community people respect and admires a man when he is 100 percent independent.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I am a high school graduate and a college dropout. Due to lack of finance, I was unable to complete my college education.I am currently a hunter, but not earning much. With the cash transfer, I will use part of the money to complete my college education. I will also use portion of the money to build a house.The house I am living in presently ,belong to my family member and I am only occuping a room in it.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The news of GiveDirectly in other communities and my community as well, other places where I have family members who are beneficial of the programme gives me joy.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I want to continue education to earn a degree, that will help me become a better person in society, but due to lack of money, all of my dreams have gone down the drain. Therefore I can say my major challenge faced is lack of finance.
