How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Since I started receiving payment from GiveDirectly, as a single Mother with children going school, I never had any means of raising money to pay my children's school fees. Happily GiveDirectly came with this great help and since then I started a dried fish business using most of my transfers. With this I can say I'm trying to be financially stable and dependent to support my children in school. Therefore with my recent transfer my planned is to used a portion of the money to register my kids for the next school year. The balance money will be spend on buying more goods for the business.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion GiveDirectly had done extremely well for us the needy. Most of us never had the means of raising money to support our children. Life before GiveDirectly had not been easy. With the farsightedness of this unique Organization had brought many good changes in our various lives today. Many thanks and appreciation to GiveDirectly for this great help. Therefore in my opinion I have not seen anything that GiveDirectly did not do well.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
With the dream to become financially independent as a single Mother, since I started receiving payment from GiveDirectly, I decided to invest some of the money in business that after GiveDirectly had left our town I will be able to take care of my family needs financially. Something that I couldn't easily do. Therefore I used a portion of the money and bought enough dried fish because that is the business I am involved with. Finally the remaining money will be spend on paying my children's registration fees for the coming school year. I will forever be grateful to GiveDirectly for this financial opportunity afforded me.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I was making business before but my market brake down because my husband is sick, so if I am qualify for this program and I received any money from Givedirectly I am going to start my business again to support my children in school and walk after my husband illnesses because it is a African sign.
What is the happiest part of your day?
For the past six months I have not had any joy or happiness because my husband is seriously sick and no money to take him to hospital and my little brother and his friend went to fishing and his friend left in the water so he was in that problem so i have not had any joy or happiness but what brought joy to me was about Givedirectly coming to my town and knowing the help they do it had brought great joy in my heart.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
As I told you I was making business before but my business broke down because of my husband illnesses and now I do not have money to sell so I have to make cassava farm for my children and myself to sell before we eat so my current challenge right is money problem.
