How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My plan was to build my own house in my village, but I never had money to accomplish my plan. I am a farmer my income was very low to accomplish my plan. Before than I used to cut Palm for people the whole day just to get money to support my family, life has been so hard on me, in the sense that to even get food something used to be difficult for me. But with the help from givedirectly my life has changed. I'm now building my 3 bedrooms apartment in my village, my children eat twice a day now and my family are so happy for the latest changed in our lives. Many thanks to Givedirectly for their support
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirectly has done very well in my life and that of our village, givedirectly has changed our entire village with so many new. And also givedirectly empower our youth with financial support there's nothing that givedirectly hasn't done well

When I received my last transfer I was able to buy additional building materials to complete my house. I bought enough food for my family, I also paid my children school fees and the workmanship. And I put the balance money in my farming work.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My fist transfer was use on three bundles of Zinc and a cartons of nails which have brought a lot of happiness in my life.My new goal , I was able to paid contractors to brush three (3 ) acres of land for planting rice,eddoes and others corps to sustain the family after Givedirectly have left the county.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirectly did well in my community because I was struggling with my family support especially children school fees.But with the gift now from Givedirectly, I am the happiest person now in my community. Givedirectly selection process was very fair.Thanks to Givedirectly for making me feel like I am now a better person than before

I was able to spent part of my transfer on farming to sustain my family and saving part of the money for others support in my household like school fees, food,hospital Bills and clothes.My source of livelihood have not been much to sustain my family Thanks to Givedirectly for making my life better than before.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Part of My first transfer was spent on bags of cement and sand to rehabilitate my old house. One side of My old house was breaking down until Givedirectly sent me the transfer and I immediately brought the materials and started working on my old house.My new goal is to now build a new house.I am using this second transfer to build another house for the family use. Thanks to GiveDirectly for making my better.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I thank Givedirectly for making my life better.GiveDirectly did well by changing my life from mat to mattress.I appreciate it because, I have been in a hardship for a very long time.GiveDirectly selection was fair with me. In my opinion, what was not well is the cash out process. Transportation and withdrawing was very stressful.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received Givedirectly cash , I felt very much relief from heavy stress. I was in debt with someone in the community . I took 10 Pieces of zinc from a man in our village to improved my house roof. I can sell fufu to end money but fufu business is going slow this time and was in great worried on how to paid back this debt I owed. The money brought so much joy to my heart because I am someone who has shame face and owing people credit without paying back can really embraced people.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference I have experienced in my daily life since I received the Givedirectly transfer is that I can now moved freely around in the community without any one embarrassing me for their credit. I can also sleep fine without too much worries again on how I will get money to solve my credit issue.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I used 5700LD to paid back the money credit I owed a business man in my community. before, I never used to moved around freely in the village. Each time the man I credited zinc from sees me, he will always asked me for his money. I also sent 10,00LDs on mobile money account to my wife in Morovia to paid by our son school fees because school will soon open. I have been thinking on how to raise money to pay my child school fees. I bought 10 sheets of wooden ceiling tiles to change my room face looks. This is something that I always admired in my neighbor house and was planning to do the same one day.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
When I receive i will do my small business, because that is the small business my woman was doing before, because of the farming all the money finished.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The thing that make me happy was, me and my wife were living happily, no fighting. And by seeing my relatives everyday make me happy too.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The challenges I facing right now, it's not easy on me, when I am going on convention I have to credit from my friend. Right now I am broke, and my children are not in school.
