How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My goal is to complete my building projects. I will want to save some of my money to pay my son's tuition. Am very pleased to be a part of this program. Life was very hard for my family and me. Things have totally change.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
The wrong I have seen about Givedirectly is the refusal of acceptance of gifts. To be very straight this is the first time in my life, I receive free 1000 dollars without any cost attachment. My entire life has changed since I encountered this organization. However, I want to be grateful to God for allowing Givedirectly to be a blessing to me. Am very happy and proud to be a beneficiary of this great program.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I bought additional materials for the completion of my project. I bought food and competence my brother and his wife, which is my sole responsibility.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I have been living in a very old house for the past years with my children. I have a very big dream for my children, especially my first son who is very smart and intelligent. My wish is to see him walking out of the wall of university with flying colours. The only thing i want is to establish a business after building my house. Am very happy for the things Givedirectly is doing for me.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
The only thing i will say is Givedirectly is the best NGO i have ever come across. My children are in school and am living in a comfortable house.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I used some of my transfer to buy zinc and pay my children school fees. I bought rice and pay people to do my work. My life is changing gradually because of the assistants i'm receiving from Givedirectly. Am so proud and happy for the kind of life am living.

When i received my second transfer I'm deciding to open a new business to help me and my family after this programs. I even bought my balance zinc and cement to finish my house. I paid my children schools feel and they all are in schools now. I'm very thankful to GiveDirectly for their support towards us in Rivercesse. It hasn't been easy for me and my family but with the help of GiveDirectly I'm now thinking about building a house for my children. My children are now happy in the house because they eat good food on time because of GiveDirectly money. Now I'm thinking about my next transfer to come so that i can improving my business.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I just went to say a big thanks to GiveDirectly for their support towards me. GiveDirectly has done nothing bad to us in Rivercesse county. I GiveDirectly is really helping us a lot in this places. I just love GiveDirectly way of working more special their engagement with people in the community. They don't pick and choose with people for their program. The only thing that i see really about them is that they don't deal with under age children.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
My most recent transfer I'm thinking of starting a new business to paid my children schools feel. I'm also planning buying my balance zinc and cement to finish my house. I even bought some food for the house so that my family will not find it very difficult getting food. I was really thinking about my children schools feel how to be paid on time. More special my big daughter that is in Monrovia going to school. I'm now of age i really use to worry about my daughter school feel issues when the year is coming to an end.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was in Duoh at work producing palm oil at the factory that wonderful afternoon when I received my mobile money transfer from GiveDirectly. I was so happy and immediately ran to the nearby mobile money center in Yarkpa's town to cash out my money. With this mobile money transfer I could buy few bundles of zinc and nails to build my house. Furthermore, I could also register my three children in school for this academic year. These are things I've been wishing to do but could not accomplish due to less income received from the Palm factory as salary. I thank God for GiveDirectly and I'm blessed to be one of the beneficiaries of this unique project.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
Due to my recent illness, I couldn't go to work anymore and earn enough money to build my house and send my children to school. However, I am still able to build my house and pay my children school fees all because of GiveDirectly's mobile money transfer. I am really grateful for being part of this all important project that has helped change my whole life. This has been the biggest difference in my daily life since I started receiving transfer from GiveDirectly.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
With the money received from GiveDirectly, I bought three(3) bundles of zinc to build my house. Likewise, I also paid workers to cut sticks for my new house and I used portion of the money to register my three children in school. The mobile money transfer has really helped my present situation because I've been home resting for couple of weeks due to my recent illness. I'm not able to go in the bush anymore to cut sticks and also earn money from the palm factory in Duoh by producing palm oil and getting paid at the end of the month. However, I am still able to build my house and send my children to school all because of GiveDirectly's mobile money transfer. I am really grateful for being part of this project.
