How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My pain is to build another house in my village for my children, but I'm a farmer, my income was very low to accomplish my plan. But with the help of givedirectly my life has changed for the better, I'm now building my 3bedrooms apartments within my village. Many thanks to Givedirectly for their support.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirectly has done very well in my life and that of our village, givedirectly has changed our entire village with so many new houses, givedirectly has done so many good things for us we appreciate. In my opinion there's nothing that givedirectly hasn't done well.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
When I received my last transfer I bought 3bundle of iron sheets to build my own house in my village, I also bought enough foodstuff for my children, I used part of my transfer to paid my children school fees, and rest of the money I was able to paid the workmanship.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I been struggling with a thatch house. With this great opportunity, i immediately used my first transfer on three bundles of Zinc for a new house. The second money was used for additional materials for the construction. It had been my plan to improved my thatch house but my source of income had been low and I been focused on food and sometimes my health I am happy because my life is getting better
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I am one of the happiest recipients today in my community because, i was not expecting such assistance in my community. Givedirectly did well by making lifes improved. I am grateful for the grant Thanks to Givedirectly for their fair selection.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I spent my second transfer on Zinc, plant, snails and pay advance to the contractor.With this money now, i am happy and proud of my self. I can now attest my improvement in my community. I can now have a rest in the morning before going to the farm. Thanks to Givedirectly for reducing household poverty.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I was living in my own house but it is very old and it leaks every year.it had been my plan to build a new house with Zinc. Because of financial constraint, I haven't had any development until Givedirectly sent me the transfer. My new goal is to build a new house which will make me to remember Givedirectly forever.

Givedirectly did well in my community especially for my family. I never expected such gift from any body but to my surprise, Givedirectly sent me money that I have never owned since. Givedirectly is an amazing experience fair and free NGO..

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was in the palava hut having meeting with the community members,When I received my transfer message from Givedirectly. I was excited and immediately put stop to the meeting and started running to my wife and children with the good news. They were so happy to hear this and we celebrated together.The same day, I went to the city and withdraw my money and brought some construction materials to build a new house. Because my old house is leaking and is very old.It had been my dream to build a house but because of the little money I was generating from my farm could not build a house until Givedirectly sent me the transfer.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
Through the transfer, I have been able to buy some construction materials with my first transfer. I am awaiting my second money to start my building.I can now attest that my life is getting better than before.Since I received the payment, There is a lot Love and happiness in my house.

I was able to buy some house materials and awaiting the second transfer to start building. I was usually depending on farming as my source of livelihood. Getting money to build my new house had become an issue for me because the little money I generated could not get me any better life

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I am the town chief of this town and the house I live in is not representing me. When I get this money, I will use it to build a new house with bricks and zinc.
What is the happiest part of your day?
What brought me joy last month was when my son who is going to school in LAC sent message that he got promoted to the 12th grade class.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The current challenge is financial difficulties, this has stop me from building my new house and taking care of the family.
