How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I am building a 3 bedroom house that will be completed as soon as I withdraw my recent transfer. Additionally, I will be able to buy few bundles of zinc, nails and wood(planks) to completely roof my house. Finally, with my recent transfer, I will purchase a very big and comfortable mattress for my family to relax at night. All thanks to GD for completely transforming my life with their great financial assistance.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
From my own understanding, GiveDirectly treats everyone equally. GD has been doing quite well with the entire program. I am very excited and I am grateful to all those involved in making my life better. I don't see anything that GiveDirectly doesn't do very well.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I have been living in my Brother-In-Law in Joseph M Kaba's house since twenty years go because I don't have cash to build myself a house. I have been contemplating on how to have my own house . Having received any unconditional cash transfer from GiveDirectly, I will build myself a house to reside in as well as purchasing a matress for myself ....
What is the happiest part of your day?
Even though I have not seen my children in two years , I feel please and Happy everyday because of their schooling that are smoothly ongoing in Monrovia, where they live with my elder sister. I usually spoke with them through my sister phone and their way of speaking English encouraged me they are attending a good school.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Living in my Brother-In-Law house for many years without owning my own house is a challenge. I have received some treatments and insults that I couldn't blame anybody, but myself since I don't have place for myself at my age. My Madam and I were separated because of my status of being unable to provide cash for her unlimited needs. I haven't been able to get a new wife since I don't have my house and these are some of my challenges among others . My wife and I septation has forced our children to be living in different places with my relatives and I won't be able to train them the way I have planned to bring them up .
