How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life would have been very hard had I not received this transfers. First and moremost my children would not have returned to school because I didn't have money to pay their fees. Secondly I and the children would still be sleeping on the floor and old mattresses. Lastly I did not have any hope to construct a iron roofed house. Currently my life is different in that we're all sleep on beds and new mattresses. I managed to purchase some livestock and lastly I'm planning to put up a iron roofed house with the money I have saved from my last transfer. I would like to send my gratitude to GiveDirectly for having uplifted my standards of living.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly liberated me from so many hardships because I was faced with so many challenges. I was able to buy livestock and plan to build a house. I have noticed anything wrong done by GiveDirectly.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my transfer on paying school fees and Saved part to construct a house.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
When I receive this money, the first thing I will do is to pay school fees in advance for our school going children. School fees has been one of the things that disturb us because we don't have enough resources that generate income. We shall also build a low cost iron sheets house because thatching grass is scarce and expensive to get. The new house will be able to accommodate us and our 4 children.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning when I wake up when the children are still asleep. When they wake up, they tend to demand for alot of things like eatables and other toys which stresses me because attimes I'm not in position to afford.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced in my life is lack of enough money to pay for our children's school fees. Apparently both me and my husband are jobless and there is limited land for agriculture which is an alternative source of our income.
