How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is better now in that, the livestock I bought will reproduce in future and I will be able to sell and acquire land since I still live at my parent's home. Previously I never had any livestock that I call my own and ploughing was so hard to the extent that I used to hire labour.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly has liberated me because I did not own a mere hen but I'm in a state where I own cows. I thank GD for the amazing offer. I haven't seen anything wrong done by GiveDirectly.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I bought livestock, household items and medical.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
It's a great chance to receive Givedirectly transfers because I will spend this money for purchasing cows. Ever since I separated with my spouse, have been struggle to get money for buying cows to rear as a source of income but all in vain. These cows are going to be my family's assets and I will sell them to raise money for buying a plot where I can build my home in future.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest moments is always in the afternoon especially after coming back from garden work. I spend time with friends sharing on our life experiences. This has created a positve change in my life.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship Iam facing is lack of land to farm. After separating with my spouse life has never been smooth in that I returned to my parent's home but I was denied a share of land to farm yet this would be the only better source of income generatiing activity for my life. Each year I borrow where to farm and it's affecting my family's food production.
