How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Yes, I have a new goal, that is, I want to build a new house. The house I'm currently residing in is not in good condition. So I have decided to break it down and build a decent and comfortable living place for my family and I. ol
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?

What does receiving this money mean to you?
When I receive this cash transfer, I will use some to improve my house to a decent level by changing the roof to iron sheet or Zinc. It has been my ambition to live in a Zinc house because the rain disturbs me a lot. After every rain falls, I will have to get some dry dirt to improve house floor because the conditions after rain falls can be hurible. I will really appreciate assistance that will improve my livelihood. I will use some more to make a big farm. I am currently planting my cocoa and palm seedlings on my father's land he left with me before he died, so it will really be a great improvement when I receive this cash transfer. The balance will be used to get food and other needs.
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the last six months what has brought me joy or happiness was when I travelled to Gbapolu in June 2021 to see my children, it takes longer before seeing them because I need to have some money for transportation and food to surprise them with. I sold some yields of my farm to get some money which helped me in June 2021 to go see them, I was really happy. The memory still live with me until now.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The challenges I am currently facing is access to finance and food security. I am currently living by making farm to earn which does not meet all of my needs. My children are living with their mother in Gbapolu and the only time I can see them is when I save some of my earnings and go to them with it, but when there's nothing it's difficult seeing them and it breaks me down mostly being without your children and not seeing them a long time until you have money. Their mother and I divorced about seven years ago ago and I have only seen them just on six different occasions.
