How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I have been wanting to build a new house and plaster the old house I'm living in. Therefore, sending my children to a better school to achieve a quality education for a better future had been one of my plans, but unfortunately for me, I have not been able because of my financial status. The current house that I am living in is in a deplorable condition and my kids are out of school also. My family and I have been experiencing so much difficulties because of these conditions of our livelihood. Fortunately for me, I was enrolled on this GiveDirectly unconditional cash transfer program as a beneficiary. When I received my first transferred from Givedirectly, I was so much happy until I couldn't control my happiness. The opportunity to achieve my goals and securing a better future for my children by educating them and building a new house and also renovating my old house I believe it is in my hands now.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly have done extremely well by helping me with such amount of money to help myself and my family. I have closely observed GiveDirectly workers on how they have conducted themselves during the enrolment process and determining their eligibility. Every households were wholly reached by GiveDirectly workers in my town. Due to this reason, I don't really think that there is something that is not done well by GiveDirectly. I am very much happy with lot of smile on my face and the faces of my family.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I have bought nothing with my recent transfer because my husband is very busy. There is no time for him. I have decided to wait for my husband to be less busy before we plan on how to start our house project with the transfer received from GiveDirectly.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I intend keeping my remaining transfers so that I can be able to build a very big and decent house for my children and I comfort.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Give Directly is a very good and transparent NGO, they are a people of integrity and I love them for that. What I don't like about them is they are too selfish, they even drink water from us not to talk of offering them fruits from our farm. That attitude of them really gets to me.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
My transfers will be spent on my building project. My children and I have squeezed ourselves too long in a very small house, thank God for Give Directly.
