How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been because I am very happy to have taken a tailoring course that will enable me start a tailoring business or even train others in tailoring other than being dependant on spouse to provide for the family. Before, my life had no hope of having money generating activity other spending most of my life being a housewife.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly has done well giving people money that has enabled the acquisition of household items like mattresses, beds, clothes, then livestock especially oxen for ploughing gardens, pay school fees for their children, others have married wives; and I don't see anything it hasn't done well.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
My second transfer was spent to buy school requirements needed and the balance is saved to clear tailoring fees when studies resume.
