How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is better now in that, My standards of living have improved because I can change clothes, Sleep well on a new mattress. Furthermore, I do farm on my very own land which I bought using GD transfers. Prior to getting these money, I used to hire farm land and when I failed to get one due to lack of money, I could spend the whole planting season working on people's gardens in order to get money to support my household via buying food and other basic needs.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I my opinion, I would like to thank GD for the amazing opportunity of sending me cash. This cash has helped me acquire land and organize my house by purchasing household items like Utensils, Mattress, Clothes, bed sheets and Blanket that were lacking in my house. My community members have utilized these transfers on construction of houses, buying household items, livestock among others therefore the standard of living has improved to a great extent. In my view, everything went on well.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my whole transfer (1632000) to procure a piece of land.
