How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is much peaceful compared to the past. I acquired oxen that have simplified farming. Previously, I had to hire oxen when I needed to plough my farm lands. Life is much better now and less stressful.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, I have bought the needed livestock to pay as dowry for my wife to be. Paying dowry is a traditional requirement for a marriage in my community and I am going to be respected as a son in-law. Previously, I had my girlfriend but we couldn't stay together because I didn't have enough money to buy the required dowry.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I received my money at around 4:39 AM, I was overwhelmed by joy because my plan of buying livestock for paying dowry was going to be attained.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer to purchase 3 cows at UGX 1,500,000 and 4 goats at UGX 200,000 I that I intend to pay as dowry to my parents-in-law

What does receiving this money mean to you?
When I receive this money, I will use part of it to build a low cost ironsheets house because the one I'm living in apparently is grass thatched and has been spoilt by rats. I will also use the other balance as dowry to marry a partner. I have been single for sometime because I did not have capacity financially yo facilitate arrangements of bringing a wife. So, with this transfers, I see it as a golden chance to get a wife and also live under stable shelter.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the night because it is usually the time telephone tarriffs are low. Its when I communicate with my fiancee which feels good.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced in my life is loneliness. There is alot of work that needs a partner, e.g cooking, laundry, garden support, etc but Iam incapacitated to have one at the moment.
