Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was sitting at my back of my house, when I saw this massage on my phone saying I have received money from GiveDirectly, I was happy, immediately I jump and being to tell God thank you for GiveDirectly.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
Since I started receiving money from GiveDirectly. My life is much better. Because this great help has taking shame from my face. But before things were so hard and it cause me too much shame that almost cause me to go to jail.

When I withdraw my money from my mobile account, I paid back the loan, I took from the club, then I decided to keeping the balance money to buy one lot of land so I can start my building project.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I'm not working neither doing I engaged into business. my husband is the only person who is sustaining the family through the means of hunting. The animals he kill we sell them and use some of the money to pay potions of the money we credited from the village saving loan and use the balance to buy food.
The money my husband credited from the village saving loan was used on his oldest brother illness in June 2021 but unfortunately he didn't died.
The house my family and I live in is a thatch house, it leak so badly when ever there is a heavy down pull of rain and it damage most of our belongings and I'm not satisfied with my living condition.
If I'm successful to receive transfer from GiveDirectly, I will use some of the money to pay the debt we are owing and use the balance to build a house.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Since the death of my husband oldest brother, I have not had any happiness. The money we used on his illness, was credited from the village saving loan but unfortunately he died. Since than my husband and I have been struggling to pay the money. Because of that, I have not had any joy or happiness.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I'm facing now is money.
I'm not working or doing any business to help with some responsibility of the home. My husband is the only person who sustain the family through the means of hunting.
