Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
Now I do not have other goals apart from building a house. My next transfers, I would spend to complete the house so that I would have a good structure which is more spacious.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
In the past four months, I have been spending a large portion of my monthly transfers on purchasing building materials. Now, I am left with a few items to purchase and start construction. We are living in a very small house which we had built with limited resources which we had before. The house is not enough to accommodate us with our growing family. I am happy I have been able to purchase these materials with less struggle.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
Having a better house and a more spacious will be a greatest achievement for me and my family. This would put me at the same level as other people in the village as at now we are the only people who has the smallest house in the whole village.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Over the last four months, I have put all my efforts and money I receive on building a house. This house construction initiative has been only possible because of the money from GiveDirectly. I have already bought timber and some of the roofing sheets that are required. I am building this house because the one I live in now is too small to accommodate my two children, my husband and me. It is very uncomfortable having to sleep in the same room with my children who are already growing up to teenage. I am happy because soon I will be having a separate room for them.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I don't have a new goal because I am focusing on completing the house to accommodate us more sufficiently. To construct the house, I still have to buy 8 more iron roofing sheets to add to the ten that I already have. I will be spending all my money on the transfer to buy them each time I receive money for the next four months.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my life is the huge steps that I have made towards building a bigger and a nicer house for my family. I have been living in a small and very old house that we started out in when I got married nearly five years ago. For all that time, I had always been trying a way to build the main house but did not succeed. Currently, construction of a large house is underway to provide us with a home of our desire. I have bought almost all the building materials for its construction using the money I get from GD and this gives me a lot of Joy knowing that my children will soon be sleeping in a room of their own.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to have changed in the next six months in that I will also be having a house to live in just like my neighbors. Building a new house to improve my home is ow the main focus and the money I get is dedicated to this course. As a yung mother, I desire nothing else more than having a decent home . This is going to be achieved by the end of the year 2019! The greatest achievement over the years of our marriage. My husband will also be running a petrol selling business that we are now contributing towards starting it.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is different in that I am now able to buy some of my family's basic needs without too much struggle like I used to do before.I have also been able to improve my farming practices by making sure that I use fertilizers on my farms whenever I am planting any crops. This has provided us with enough food for the family and has consequently reduced the burden of us struggling with casual labor to try and put food on the table for the family. I now have a cabbage farm that is ready for harvest. I will be harvesting my cabbages in the next two weeks. This is something I have never done nor thought of doing before.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My most immediate goal is to see our house construction come to start. We already have almost all the building materials but we are alive to the fact that much is still needed to bring this dream come true. We are working on accumulating enough funds to pay the house constructor and maybe get some of the most basic household needs in that house such as chairs and beds. We are struggling to keep contributing in our monthly merry go round and are sure that some of these accomplishments if not all of them shall be actualized within the next four months.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I have been able to assemble the necessary materials for building a new house. The current house is too small for my family. It has always been a lowest moment for us as a family whenever we have visitors. It has been particularly embarrassing when the visitors decide to sleep over and we are forced to have them sleep at the neighborhood. This is so demeaning and has often made me lose my self esteem. We have not been able to save enough money from our casual jobs that earns us barely enough to feed the family. GiveDirectly transfers enabled us participate in the monthly merry go rounds and as the first beneficiaries, we have been able to use the money accumulated to buy the building materials. We are looking forward to having a new house in the days to come.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next few months, I expect to have relocated to my new house with my family. This means that we will be having a more dignified life and raising a healthier, happier family.
