Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal in the next four months is to buy a goat or a sheep. I would also want to invest in livestock just like my neighbours. I know when they reproduce, I will have a good number which is a very good investment, especially in my area. I can easily sell some to raise money without have to go beg or borrow money like before.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life since I started receiving these transfers from Give Directly is that I have been getting a good harvest than what I used to get in the past. I have always relied on farming as my main source of income. Since I have been using the same plots over the years, its production reduced. I started straining to meet my family needs due to low harvest because I would have to go for casual work to get money. Since I started receiving these transfers, I have been using part of my transfers to buy farm inputs such as hybrid seeds and fertilizer. I have seen positive results on my harvest because I no longer get the 2-3 sacks I used to get but it has improved to 7 sacks. This has really helped me in feeding my family and the surplus harvest, I do sell to raise a small income to handle other needs. Right now, I do feel I get a reward of the kind of work I do on my farms since I started using the inputs.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
My life will be different in the next six months is that I will be having my own goat or sheep. I know with these transfers. I can easily get a goat which can reproduce and help me reduce my poverty level. Taking care of a goat or a sheep is much easier because water and grass are easily available in my area. I do not need to get money to feed them unless it is sickness which requires vaccination once in a while. According to what I have seen in my area, rarely do livestock get sick so I am sure it is a wise investment to help me do away with poverty in my family.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different from the way it was four months ago because currently, I can afford a peaceful sleep even if it rains because I was able to construct a new roof which is not leaking. In addition to that, I have been able to afford a full day's meal through the help of the monthly transfers. This is unlike before when I only relied on farming which wasn't reliable.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
Currently, I rely mostly on farming but it's normally not reliable depending on the climatic changes. Therefore, for the next four months of my life, I have a new goal of saving the coming transfers and use them to start up a retail shop. This will be an additional source of income which will enable me to comfortably meet most of the family's needs without straining.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer is the feeling of content and peace. This is because trough the GD transfers I was able to renovate my house which has been in poor condition for a longer period of time. The roof was old and leaking whenever it rained which forced me to either seek shelter in neighbors houses or endure the rains. I'm glad I was able to change the roof through the GD transfers.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I have a goal of saving some of the coming transfers and use it to start up a retail shop in the next four months. Thereafter I'll be using the coming transfers to boost it so that I can earn more income from it.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Having a large farm in itself makes life peaceful because it is the best asset one can start life with. But being able to invest in this land is another thing. I'm happy I used the previous transfers on farming on this land. I am really proud of my self because of all the pieces of advise and the pressure that I received from my friends because I was still able to make a good decision. I'm expecting a huge harvest that I plan to sell and use the money to start up another business. Considering how everything is falling out I feel there is the hope of having a good life in the future.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I recently started a farming project and for the next four months of my life, I have a goal of ensuring that the farm is well taken care of. I always believe that when one takes good care of their farm they are guaranteed to have a good harvest. I made sure I had the right farm inputs, ensured I cultivated on time and sprayed the crops to prevent them from being infested by insects and pests. I will then dry and store the harvest until when there is a shortage of such crops in the market. By doing this I will be able to get more profit compared to when I could have sold them immediately after harvesting them.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer is that I now own a few assets. I managed to buy a good number of sheep using these transfers. Livestock is greatly valued in our area because of its numerous benefits and so are the sheep. That is why after long thought on how to invest I ended up settling on buying them. I hope they will multiply with time and increase in number.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next four months of my life, I expect to have raised enough money to enable me to start up a business. I am planning to save for four months in order to accumulate enough capital. I am still doing my research in order to understand the type of business that would do well in our area and the logistics of managing a business and ensuring it becomes successful.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Four months ago, I never owned even a single sheep and I just wished to own some just like my neighbor, who for several years has been owning a flock of sheep. Fortunate enough, I have been able to save my four month's transfers from which I have succeeded to buy two sheep. In addition, I have begun poultry farming, a dream that I have had in mind since childhood.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal in the next four months is to expand my poultry project by rearing more chicken. In my village, poultry farming is a lucrative business during festive seasons. Secondly, in my community cocks are highly valued since they are mostly used for some cultural practices thus making them to fetch a good amount of money in the market.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
For the last four months preceding the current transfer, the biggest difference in my daily life has been owning some livestock such as two sheep and some chicken. All through my life, I had desired to at least own even a goat just like my peers in the village, but this dream had not been a reality due to lack of a reliable source of income. I did not have some money to use to achieve such a dream. I thank God for the transfers from GiveDirectly, I am now counted among the sheep owners in my village.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to change to be better than it is now in the next six months. I am planning to buy more sheep to add to the ones I currently have. Moreover, I am expecting to expand my poultry farming and raise about 100 hens and cocks from which I will be able to earn some good income once I start selling them.
