How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I now have food in my home and I am eating all me as of the day. I will have a good house and warm place to sleep as well. This is such a great change.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
There is nothing that GiveDirectly did not do well in my opinion. Everything went well and today everyone is very happy on how things turned out
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I have used me the money to add on some iron sheets, i bought 10 iron sheets to add to thr ones i already have. I bought bricks and paid the builders so that work on building the house can start. I went on to buy poles for the roofing.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
i was very excited when i received my transfer i knew that my dreams of having enough yields and good house will be done.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
i have always had the desire to have good yields but it was very difficult since i never had enough fertilizer to apply in my maize field. i could not afford to buy a bag of fertilizer, i could only afford to buy very little amounts. sometimes i could only apply 5kgs of fertilizer in a very big farm, this always had a negative impact on the yields. when i received my transfer i bought enough fertilizer and i have applied in my maize fields hopefully this year i will have enough yields.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
when i received the transfer the first thing i bought was fertilizer. i never had good yields of maize because i never applied fertilizer in my fields. secondly i bought food since i did not have food at home. i also bought iron sheets as am planning to build a new house with the second transfer. the remaining amount was used to buy mattress and other basic needs.
