How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I plan to build my house, I plan to buy zinc and I am also planning to buy mattress.

Give directly gave me phone, sim card and most of all is the transfer. This transfer really helping me and it is through this transfer that I am able to start my house process and even buying mattress for my room. I am so happy that give directly came in t this town to help me.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I planned to start building my own house before receiving my second cash transfer from Givedrectly.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedrectly is trustworthy and very committed in transferring money to my mobile account. It is because, I am receiving money from Givedirectly that I have decided to construct my own house. I been trying to save money for the past two years to build my house but couldn't due to household expenditure. I am grateful to Givedirectly and want to extend Thanks.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment when I received the money I was very happy because this is my first time handling such amount of money in my entire life.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
My life is different now because everything is changing, I barely afford food to eat before receiving this money, but now my life has improved. I can now eat on time and regularly because of the transfer.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
If we are successful to receive the cash transfer, we will invest into clothes business. We decided to sell clothes because they buy it faster here. Most besides, it is goods not is durable. Meaning it can't expired like Other goods. So we will go in waterside market in Monrovia, buy it and come sell same here.
We have bee selling clothes before, but not for ourselves. We were selling for people. But the person travel. Because of that, we have to moved here for settlement.
It is our plan to invest in the business, but the coal production we do here to sell and be able to save for the business is not earning us money. So if we receive the cash, it will be a huge opportunity for us to implement our plan.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Yes, we were very happy on July 22, 2021. That day marked our first daughter one year old.
Since her birth, she has been sickly althrough. So for her to see her first birthday, we were indeed very happy that day.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The major challenge for us here is how to earn money. We said money because the only thing we do here to earn money is making cassava farm and coal production for sell. But again, the coal work is very difficult. Besides, there are too many people engaged in the same coal and fufu production for sell. As the result, the price of those items named above have dropped. Due to that, we are not making money out of those items like before thereby making it hard for us to earn money to implement out plans.
