What does receiving this money mean to you?
If I am successful to receive the money, I will invest into coal production at the highest level. Meaning I will pay people to brush huge portion of my farm land, cut the sticks so I can produce coal out of it for sale. Although I am engaged into coal production now, however, it is at small scale because I am alone doing it. So if I am successful to receive the cash, I will make it bigger by paying people to help me. When I sell the coal and realise more money; in other words when the money multiplied, then I will also give some to my spouse to engage in to fish business . She will go to town, buy fish and come seel same in the community here. We have made a plan long time so she will engage in the fish business, but we have not had enough money for that. Although as I said earlier I am riding bike, and planning to save for the business, however, I am not making more money from the bike riding like before because of fear of being kill by ritualistist. So where I used to ride in Monrovia, I am no more running traffic there; Instead in the communities around here. As the result of that, I am not earning much again from the bike riding.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Yes,like yesterday, I was very happy because somebody was able to credit me half bag of rice ( 25kg) to pay later. That really made me happy because for the past two weeks my family and I been out of food and that brought unhappiness in the home. But since I received the rice, we happy for until maybe the rice can finish.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The major challenge for me here is how to raise money to do those things I mentioned earlier. As I said before, I am riding bike supporting the home, and saving some cash from the riding to be able to invest into business. But the bike riding is not giving me more money like before because I have Changed location as it relates to where I ride the bike - instead of riding in Monrovia and its environs , I am now riding in the communities around here. And that is not earning me money like before.
