In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Give Directly has given poor people unconditional cash transfers that have transformed poor households to average households.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
When I received my second transfer, I used it all in purchasing the materials that we used for constructing our commercial house that is in the centre. We went to use that house as an Income generating activity that will help us meet out family needs in a more sustainable manner.

The moment I received my money , I felt happy and started planning for it.

I spent my first transfer to buy building materials such as sand, cement and bricks at an estimate 1,500,000 ugx as I plan to use that to start building my house using the next transfer. I also used part of my transfer for hiring a garden at 200,000 ugx for two years. This garden will help me to cultivate cassava that i will use to feed my family in the near future.
