How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than if I had never received cash transfers in that I now sleep in permanent house that I had never slept in before hence improved standard of living.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Give Directly has given unconditional cash transfers directly to the poor people. I do not see what Give Directly did not do well.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
When I received my second transfer, I cleared the mortgage amount of 1,000,000ugx for the two acres of land that I had mortgaged. I bought 4 iron sheets at 140,000ugx, I bought cement at 231,000ugx and the balance of 262,000ugx, I used for feeding.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I'm sleeping in better house which is permanent other than before when I had poor and weak house.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received the transfer, I felt excited. This is because I had never held such a mount of money in my life.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my fist transfer to purchase a mattres, bed, garden and built permanent house. I bought food with the remaining portion of the transfer.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship which I face is my life is staying without a woman since I separated with the one I married sometimes I eat once in day because I don't like cooking .
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is always evening hours when I take local drink called" Ajono" made out of millet .makes me not to remember about my former wife .
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving money is means of helping me to buy bedings and some good clothes for my self.
