How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My new goal is to establish a business in other to sustain my family and I.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Give Directly is like a hope in the desert. They have made our lives what it is and our long awaited dreams are becoming a reality. I'm so much grateful to God for such a transparent, and straight forward NGO, they are indeed a blessing to lives.

My most recent transfer will be spent on purchasing goods for sale such as slippers, soap, flash light, toothpaste, rice and etc.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I have no new goal. My goal has always been to see my family live a better life.Things have been so hard on me. I go to the gold mines around my town to work. The money I get paid can hardly take care of my family needs. I could hardly afford our upkeep. We could no longer afford our rent. We had to move in with my father in law. I was excited when GiveDirectly came to my town. Being enrolled in this program is a privilege I am grateful for. Hopefully our lives will get better after receiving all the transfers.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
With in my personal opinion, we been working alone side with many others NGOs, GiveDirectly is the number one NGOs that is doing very well and excellent for us in Rivercess County, by rebuilding everyone life. Hopefully afyer receiving all of the transfers our lives will never be the same again.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
Things have been very difficult for my family. I could hardly afford our daily needs. I work at the gold mines. I used some of my money to purchase zinc. I'm also saving rest of my money to add up and start a new business, for the so purpose of my children future. As I speak now life is getting better for me and my family wellbeing. Most of my money was spend on school fees and building materials. Many thanks and appreciation for the family of GiveDirectly cash program, all of my kids back in school and my building project is ongoing.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I felt very happy when I received my transfer message on my phone.The joy of receiving My family and I have been stopping with my father in-law for the passed two years. Living with my in- laws had not been easy. Hopefully, with my GD transfer my dream of building a new house for my family to move in is glaring. With gladness, I will forever be grateful to GiveDirectly.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
Before receiving payment from GiveDirectly, my family have been squatting with my father in-law for the passed two years. Life have never been favourable living with my in- laws due to limited space in the house. I have been jobless and have no source of income to fulfilled my dream of building a house for my family. Amazingly, with this transfer I was able to buy a bundle of zinc as a stating point of my project. I also used a portion of my money to buy 5bags of cement for the foundation of the house. This bring me great Joy knowing that my dream will soon come to pass.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
After receiving My recent transfer from GiveDirectly, with my desired of building a new house for my family, I used some of the money to buy a bundle of zinc to start the building project. Moreover, some of the money was spend on buying a five bags of cement to start the foundation of the house. I am very glad to be one of the beneficiaries of GD program.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
When I am qualified for this program and receive any money from GiveDirectly I am going to build my house and make business to go back to school because I dropped from school for money business.
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the last six months nothing had ever brought joy or happiness to me because I worry every day about how to get money and I'm not getting it for that I can't be happy but for GiveDirectly coming to work in my town and bringing this great news it had really brought joy in my heart and I am praying that I be qualified for this program and receive money from them to settle my problems
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My current challenge right now is money problem, I do not have money to substances my family and I so for reason I worry every day about how to get money so that's my main challenge for now.
