Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I have been wanting to give my children the best education they need to be important people in society but unfortunately for me, I have not been able to do that for them because I have no means of helping them achieve this dream. My three girls children are living with my friends in Monrovia and I am being called almost everytime to help with their tuitions but I can not because I have no means of helping them. By God's help, GiveDirectly came into my village and get the shame off my face. I became so much happy when I receive my first transfer from GiveDirectly. I was not able to even eat the whole day because of the joy and happiness in my heart on that beautiful day.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
Things are ok with me now because of my first transfer. I have not been so happy in my life like the way I am right now. My children are back to school and I am waiting for my second transfer to send their balance fees. I will also use the second transfer to change the thatch roof over my house and also pay people to cut sticks to start my new house project.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
There have been nothing on my mind and nothing to achieve with the exception of sending my children to school and build a house that will accommodate me and my family. My most recent transfer has been divided into portions. I was able to use portion of it to pay for my children's school fees. I also bought two bundles of zinc to build a house. The previous house that I am living in is leaking a lot due to the overstayed of the thatch roof over it. I am so thankful to GiveDirectly.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Last year, I started selling fufu and putting susu with the intend of getting money to building my house. When I got my susu money, the guardian of my daughter said I need to send money for my daughter's graduation from the 6 grade which I did. This really affected my initial plan. Up to date, I am still in a house with so many problems from others in the house. If I receive any cash from Give Directly, my fist plan is to build my house and use some to support my daughter and the rest of the children in school and use any balance to make more cassava farm for sale.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My most happy moments this year is the news of my daughter graduating from elementary. Next to that is the hope that Give Direcly had given me. With the news of standing a chance of receiving money from your NGO is one of the best moments for me thi year. I now have the hoping of building my own house and expanding my cassava farm.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My major challenge right now is shelter. I don't have comfortable place for my children and me. Another challenge is food for the children and how to continue to support them in school. I have to sell fufu before providing food for the home.
