How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The previous house that I am staying in can not hold my family and I because the family is increasing. I have not been able to build myself a new house because of my financial situation. The only goal I have ever had is to build a new house that will accommodate my family and I. I am so much happy for my recent transfer from Givedirectly because through it I was able to pay for my children's tuitions, which had been a very serious challenge for me for the passed years. I am also building a new house that will hold my family and I in the future.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly have done very much well by giving me such amount of money to build a new house for me and my family. The thatch roof that was over my house and people houses in my village are now zinc roofs because of the great help render by GiveDirectly. I am so thankful to GiveDirectly for such improvements in our lives from my village.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I have not been able to achieve my dreams of building a new house because of difficulties. I was so much happy for this money from Givedirectly when I started receiving it because through it I am sending my children to school to achieve a quality education for a better future. I have also bought cement and zinc for the construction of my new house to have a better sleeping place for my family and I.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
No! I have no new goals. My old goal has always been to complete my building project. Things have been a bit difficult for us. I cut palmnuts and make oil. I take the oil to local markets to sell. Business have been moving a bit slow. I was so excited when GiveDirectly came to my town. I was happy when I got enrolled in it's cash program. Receiving my transfer was one of the best things that happened to me. I was overwhelmed. I know that my life will get better.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly is not doing anything unwell. It's cash program has changed my life for the better. I am so excited for this opportunity. I was happy when I got enrolled. Hopefully after receiving all of the transfers my life will improve for the best.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
My wife and I was so happy, begin to celebrate all around the town because this was the first time receiving this amount of money in cash. We will like to used the money to improved our house and pay our children school fees.

I plan to fix my house, because it's not in good condition and I also want my woman to make business with this money.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I'm happy because GiveDirectly came in my town to help me with money so that I can be able to buy cement to plaster my house, and I'm also happy for the phone GiveDirectly give me.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The challenge I'm facing now is money business. Since my mother died in September, I have always been sick in my body and I haven't been able to go to the hospital because no money; so by GiveDirectly giving me this money, I will be able to go to inland mission hospital for good treatment.
