Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was really happy when I received my first transferred from GiveDirectly. Through out my life I have been living in hardship, I could not afford to build a better shelter for my family but with this financial help that GiveDirectly have started sending me I will build a house cover with iron roof that will protect us,especially during the wet season.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
My life has improved greatly since I started receiving transfer fund from GiveDirectly. I have not been able to build a better house for my family , Because the cost of construction is so huge. Now that I'm receiving transferred fund from GiveDirectly my plan of building a better shelter will be achieved and this will safe my family from the stressed of living in a house that leak so badly when ever rain falls.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
My plan has been to build a better shelter that will be covered with iron roofing sheets, Because the current house that we live in is covered with thatches, so upon receiving my transfer I purchased two bundles of roofing sheets and paid my kids balance tuitions.
