Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was home sitting with my family when the message came that I have received money. I felt so happy that I started dancing. To me, it was a joy that I will never forget. Receiving such a money that I did not work for. That moment brought me so much happiness.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my daily life is the start of receiving payments from GiveDirectly. It has shifted my husband and I thinking of only focusing on providing food at home to the planning of building a new and bigger house for our family. Because the current house we are in is too small to accommodate our seven children and us (husband and I).
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I will spend my money on buying zinc to build a house for my family and I. I live with my husband and seven children. Things has not been easy on us. To get food to eat everyday has been a serious challenge for my family and I. Least to say, to think about building a house. Receiving this recent transfer has given my husband and I the opportunity to imagine of constructing a new and bigger house.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
