How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I purposely plan to build my house prior to receiving the money, because I don't have a house and I am currently living in people houses.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Well, I don't want to talk much about GD because it is through Givedirect I am about to build my house. When and where I was going to get money from, if GD had not given me money to help myself. I am so thankful to God first and Givedirect second for making me to be able to do something good for myself
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I spent the money on the house materials including zinc and nails and other related items for house

What does receiving this money mean to you?
"What I plan to do with my cash transfer is, to buy land and build my house right in this town, reason being, when our children sometimes come to visit us it causes serious embarrassment, the single room is too small to contain everybody, so, if I build my house then this will not be an issue, my children will have their own room/rooms to lay their heads."
What is the happiest part of your day?
"In the last six months what brought me happiness is, when ever I wake up and see myself well in body and that of my husband, and children I feel so excited and begin to praise the Lord."
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
"The challenges I'm currently faced with are, 'One', finding food is difficult, we do lot of hard work before raising money to buy food and other things, we have to cut sticks in the bush and burn it for charcoal/fire coal, we sell these charcoal to raise money. We also harvest the cassava and sell it so as to have cash to do other things; this is how we hustle to feed our home, but these activities generate only little, which isn't sufficient to start my project which is my second challenge, after attending to other basic needs."
