How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Yes, I have new goals that I did not have before receiving this transfer. My new goals were to buy a mattress and start a new business. I did not have this thinking before because of no money to purchase them. My family and I have been sleeping on a grass bed for a very long time, and getting sugar and battery for home usage had been very challenging for us in Gueh village. This third transfer received have given me and my family a new goals of owning a mattress and to start a sugar and battery business in our village.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly is doing so much well by helping us to own things for ourselves. Most things we own now, we didn't had the thinking of get them. But I say thanks to GiveDirectly for everything that it is doing. Really, I am not aware of any unwell things that this organisation is doing. It is because of GiveDirectly reaching our village to help that my family and I are bed resting well, and I have a new business doing. So I say thanks to the work that you guys do. I truly appreciate every efforts of it.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I did spend my most recent transfer on buying a mattress and starting a new business in my village. My child, husband and I live in a three rooms house. We have not been able to own a mattress for ourselves. Grass bed is what we have been sleeping on year in year out. And most time in our village, Gueh's Village, we experience serious challenges in getting sugar and battery for use at home. This is why after receiving my third transfer I bought a mattress so that my family and I can have a comfortable bed rest, and people in my village can have access to buy sugar and battery for their various home usage.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Yes, I have a new goals and they are to improve my house by plastering the floor with a cement and to buy two mattresses for my house. I live in a three room house with my husband and son. We sleep in one room and the other two are stranger rooms. All of the rooms do not have a mattress, since we built this house. Also, we have not been able to plaster the floor with cement and to afford the cost of purchasing a mattress to sleep on. My family and I have been sleeping on a bed made of grass. Now this second transfer has certain my goals of plastering my house floor with cement and to buy two mattresses for my house.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly is doing too many good things for us. I am so happy to be on GiveDirectly program. I have not seen any bad things that GiveDirectly has done.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I will spend my second transfer on paying for cement and two mattresses for my house. It has been too long now since my husband and I built this house with no cement floor and a mattress to sleep on. Because of our house conditions my son big sickness is cold. I believe the cause of his common cold sickness are the grass bed we sleep on and the earth floor of our house. I would really like my family and I to experience the feeling of being warm while in our house.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I have been in search for cash to cement and furnish my house since 4 years ago when I my husband and I built this house . The house is not cement for close to five years because of lack of money . If I am opportune to be one of the benefiaries of Givedirectly program or when I receive the cash transfer, I will definitely purchase cement and beg for my house.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am a treasurer for our Church, ACFI . I borrowed the cash of $15,000 LD from the church butget in my possession and my husband hired people to join him manufacture a cannon . The processes are ongoing and I am so happy for that because we may own a cannon in few weeks .
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I have been facing challenges since my house burned 6 years ago up to present. My husband usually manufactures Cannon for sale . He sold two Cannons about 8 years ago and we established a fish business. Our business in no time became a very large business and unfortunately, my house got burned through mistake made by my daughter while drying my fish in my absent . Every cash and goods I had in the house got damaged and I was left with no cash to continue my business. I am a struggling farmer again and that is the current challenges I am facing.
