My goals are to send my two boys children to college since they have completed high schools and to build a new house. I have too boys children. They have completed high school and have already taken the Grand Bassa Community College entrance. My husband and I have promised them that we will register and pay for their college studies. We have been thinking of how to fulfil this promised to our children. Also the house my family and I live in has an earth floor and a thatch roof with no ceiling. We have stay in this house for over 25 years now. Most time my family and I find it difficult to sleep at night when it is raining because almost every where of the roof leaks. We have been dreaming of improving it with iron sheet roof and to put a cement floor to keep us warm. But there has been no way possible to have that done. I feel so sad seeing my children going through this suffering with us, which is irresponsible of us as parents. Hence, Thank God for GiveDirectly. That, this second transfer has made my goal of sending my children to college possible and not only that but have changed my thinking of improving my house to building a new and a better one.

Everything that GiveDirectly is doing are good. I have not seen any bad side of GiveDirectly. This organisation is different to me than others that I have seen. At first, I had doubt about the money that was promised. But receiving the first transfer and cashing it out changed my wrong thinking about the organisation. Registering my two boys children in the Grand Bassa Community College and purchasing some building materials are the plans that I have to spend on from this second transfer. I have not been to school before in my life, but I know the importance of going to school. This is why I want to support my children educations. Registering my children for college has been a trouble for my husband and I. My husband is a teacher here in the village, Pankloh. His salary is too little to support our 2 boys in college and to provide the house we dream of, and his salary does not even come in time. We live in a house that leaks most time when it is raining. Our house is always cold because of the earth floor and the thatch roof. My family and I dream of living in a house made of iron sheet roof and a cement floor that will keep us warm mostly at night. So, this second transfer has provided certainty for us. We will spend it on paying for our children registration fees and buying some building materials to start the construction of a new house that will provide the comfort we deserved.

I was very happy when I get the transfer, I ran home to tell my husband and the children, we began to celebrate the good news.
