How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is now different in that, I have been able to educate my children without any debt as opposed to the past when I used to borrow from people for their fees.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Give directly has done well bringing development in my community by giving them money. On the other hand, Gd has done nothing bad.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent only 100000ugx of my second transfer for visiting my child at school. I have saved the balance but I'm planning to buy livestock.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is the reduced stress as I am now going to have my own permanent house. Even the stress on how to handle my husband is less as the treatment he gets makes him to not be so violent as before.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I recieved my money, I felt happy that I got off my bed and knelt down to thank God and Give Directly.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on paying fees balance for all terms and partly for term three for my children. I then bought 10 iron sheets that I plan to use when I start construction. I am keeping the balance as I plan to either buy bricks or divert it to some thing else. Since my husband is mentally ill, I try to buy some things to please him as well.
