How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
If I had never recieved the transfer, I would still be completing in the village and down. Now I am self employed and staying in town practicing my profession.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, givedirectly has done well by helping me to improve from nothing to something. I am now self employed. However, givedirectly has done nothing bad.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to purchase drugs that I was to put into a drug shop that I started up using the first transfer. Since I am a nurse by profession, I decided to start up a drug shop that would help me to be self employed. I then used the balance to buy some household items such as clothes.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I have gained more peace than before. This is because I know that I am going to start my personal drug shop as a means of income generation.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I recieved my money, I felt so happy. It was such a joyous moment. Give Directly brought a smile to us.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I plan spend my first transfer on getting a licence for operating a drug shop which might cost up to 775,000 ugx. Then draw out the list of medicines needed to start operation. This is because being in the village where there is no proper medical facility, I took this as a starting point to practice my qualifications and help people around.
