How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My main goal is to build my house and complete it so that it will be beautiful and more comfortable for my family; I have two completed houses and this one is going to make it three, building more houses is my dream because I have so many children who I don't want to get into confusion in the future because of a single house. I also want to establish a business that I can operate from home because my strength is fading away from day to day and I am not able to do the kind of hard work I used to do to survive.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly does well by helping us unconditionally without any strings attached to it, they are also kind in talking with me during the time of interview, sending the money to our mobile money accounts without any third party being involve is also cool to me. I haven't seen anything that GiveDirectly is not doing well in this town.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I used my third transfer to buy some building materials for my house project, I also bought food for both the workers that are building my house and my family, the balance is in savings for other expenses needed for the house project.
