How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I use my first transfer to paid my four (4 )children school fees, buy their uniforms, shoes and book bags.My development for my recent transfer is to add part of my transfer to my existing business.I use the balance money to buy cement bags to improve my old house.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I am grateful for the grant because since,I never seeing a straight NGO like Givedirectly. I am always happy because Givedirectly brought joy in my household. Every process went well. Thanks Givedirectly for Thanks Givedirectly for every thing.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
Through the transfer from Givedirectly, I was able to buy Zinc, print, nails to improve my old house and paid my children school fees. Thanks to Givedirectly for making my family life better especially my children getting back to school.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was in bed when I received my transfer after that i wake up in the morning. I when to the network area to check on my phone to verify it. I saw my money on the phone i being to dance and signing for this great opportunity. I when in the village to tell my family about the money that i just received from GiveDirectly. I was so happy about this money that i received from GiveDirectly. I was only living on farming to provide for my children and other family members. I'm now thinking about building a house for my children. I'm very thankful to GiveDirectly for their support towards us in Rivercesse.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my life is that i was not able to build a new house with zinc over it,but with the help of GiveDirectly I'm now thinking about building a new house . I really use to surfer in get food for my children until I go to the bush to cut Palin oil. I even bought some food for the house for this Christmas season. I'm going to paid someone to help me cut some stick in the bush so that i can improve my house. I even bought (3) gallons of gas to saw my planks, so that i can use it to improve my house.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
My most recent transfer that I received from GiveDirectly programs. I just bought some medicine for my husband to start a small business in the community. I also paid my children schools feel and they are in school now . I'm even thinking about starting a new business to help me and my family. I bought two (2) bundles of zinc to improve my house I'm even going to paid people to cut my house sticks from the bush. I was only living on farming to survive but with the help of GiveDirectly I'm now able to doing something good for myself.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
My first plan is to pay my children school fees, finish my house and change my kitchen roof to zinc.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The only thing that brought me so much joy, is that when were told that they have a group called GD. And this group help poor people. I was happy because i knew that this group was going to help solve our children's school problem, and other problems. Your present in this town brings me great joy.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My major challenge is my children well being. As you can see, we don't have quilified teachers for upper classes. Therefore, i need money to send my children in Buchanan for school.
