What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on buying two bulls and parts of the plough at 1,300,000 ugx that will help me in ploughing during cultivating period. I am going to use rlthis as an income generating activity since in the area, when you have bulls and a plough, people pay you to work for them, a quick way to make money in the village. Then 200,000 ugx to help my daughter build her house since the area she got married to did not recieve transfer. I have the balance of the money to my wife to use as she pleased.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Givedirectly has done well by giving me money to get what I never could have till my death. For example, I always wished to have my own plough but it was not possible until GiveDirectly offered me the help. To me, I see nothing bad that givedirectly has done. All it has done is good.
