What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent most of my third transfer on constructing a new house to replace the tiny one that my spouse constructed many years ago before he passed on. Since then, life became so miserable as I could not even afford a single piece of iron sheet to build a house. the moment my daughter, who was away, came back home, she was so shocked as she could not believe the kind of house that I had built. It took her with much surprise to learn of the good work that Give Directly did in my life. Besides that, I purchased a cow and a goat to leave a legacy for the good work done by the organisation.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent most of my second transfer to buy iron sheets, timber and nails which am planning to use in building my house. I bought two sacks of maize for my family's consumption. The remaining amount I spent to pay for my children's birth certificate and also to buy other household goods which I did not have.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, I am very happy because i will soon build a bigger and more comfortable house than the one I am living in. Thank you GD for the transfer

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on purchasing food for the family consumption, bought fertilizer and seeds to use in my farm and used the larger percentage of the amount on paying fees for my children.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received the transfer I was overwhelmed with joy. I was making sisal that I normally sell when I heard a message and upon reading it and confirmed that it was from GiveDirectly, I left the work and rushed to withdraw the money since I had nothing in store for the the family to eat that night.
