How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I have been planning to build my house because the house I am living in right now belongs to my family. I also want to keep supporting my children in school until they can graduate and get better jobs in the future. I am doing everything possible with the transfers that GiveDirectly is helping me with to have these goals accomplished.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, I love GiveDirectly because they talk to me nicely each time I am being interviewed, I also love them because they are helping poor people like me unconditionally to be established. I don't have anything wrong to say about GiveDirectly, they have only been good to me.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I haven't spent any of my third transfer yet but will use my third transfer to buy all the building materials I need for my house project. I will also establish a little business that will keep helping to raise money for my family expenses.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my transfer I felt very happy because, for the past years things has been very hard for me. My children have been out of school because of lack of finance, but the moment I received this transfer I was able to register my kids in school and buy enough food for my house.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
My life has changed since I received my first transfer. Before I couldn't afford to feed my family and my kids weren't in school but now I have sufficient food and I was able to register my kids in school. Am grateful for this good Give directly is doing for me.

I used most of my transfer to registered my kids in school and bought enough food for my house. Things has been very difficult with me. I couldn't afford to feed my family but now I have enough food and even safe portion of my transfer.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I will love to build my own house, reason being, the house we're currently in is a family house, and some of my elder siblings could sometimes come for a long time visit, due to limited sleeping space we will definitely share the same room; this will cause serious inconvenience. As such, we already have the land space, I will love to build my house for I and my children. Another thing I would love to do with my transfer is to also enroll my children in school.
What is the happiest part of your day?
What had brought me joy is that, since this year, non of my children had gotten sick, including myself, and I thank the Lord so much that every day he provides for I and my children, even though things had been very hard due to the Covid-19, but God had been so good to us.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
For now I am both mother and father for my two kids, supporting these children single handedly is of serious challenge for me, in the sense that, if I don't go on the farm to work and sell whatever I gather from there my children will not be able to eat. Since their father and I got separated I've not gotten anybody to help me with these children, so finding food and supporting them had seriously been my challenge.
