How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The biggest difference in my life is that I have earn a name in our community because I gave my sister the best send off after every body knew I was going to fail. I was so relieved because I did not engaged myself in any debt that time of the funeral.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion give directly did a very good think by training people before starting their program. There was also no sign of corruption amongs the staffs since they were doing there work free and fairly without any corruption. Give directly was also true to their words because they did as they promised us, as compared to many organisations that does not fulfill their promises.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
When I got the money I was so happy because l knew l was going to achieve all my goals but unfortunately my sister whom i was staying with after she divorced her spouse past on. So I was to take care of all her funeral program expenses because I was the one who was staying with her. I spent the whole of the transfer to take care of her hospital and plus all the food expenses. I do not regret spending money the way I did because without this money I could not managed to give my sister the best send off. I am glad and very happy that I approved the villagers who were thinking that I will not managed to take care of a very thing wrong . My family members were also happy and relieved because the money helped us a lot.
