How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
If I could not have received the money from give directly I could not have managed to pay for my spouse college fee and I am very sure he could have dropped out of college.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Give directly is an organisation that is true to it's words because they deliver as they said. Their timing was accurate and we also got the money as they said.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent most of the transfer to pay college fee arrears for my spouse. I was able to support my parents pay college fee for my spouse who was almost dropping out of college because of the luck of college fees after his parents who were paying for his college fee past on and my parents pick on a much they do not have stable source of income. I am vejjhijjry the happy because my spouse was able to go back to college and managed to do his exams after I had spent the money to pay hus college fee and he did his final examination which he passed very well. I am very grateful to give directly because without them my spouse could have dropped out of college. I also spent some of the transfer to hire people to weed for me my farm since it was too big I could not weed it by myself. The remaining I spent to buy food stuffs for my family consumption.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means that I will be able to buy a solar panel so that we can have constant supply of lighting, I will also buy some furniture and pay school fees for my husband who is training as a teacher at Moi university.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning when I open my small shop which I operate in my house. This makes me happy because I am able to suppliment our income with what my husband does as a house constructor.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I face in my life is that our income is very low and when my husband resumes classes at their college we really find it difficult to make ends meet.
