How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I really didnt have any new goals apart from my previous plan. Before receiving this cash transfer i planned to purchase house materials like planks, 3 bundle zinc, zinc nails to renovate my old house. The bugs have eaten the planks and the house roof damaged. I decided to use this transfer to renovate my house.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
My husband and I burn coal to sustain our family for the past (6) years. The money we earned from the coal we burn is not enough to maintain the family. We send (3) of our children in Monrovia to stay with some of our relatives because, we can't afford to maintain all of them. The house I'm in now is a family place and it's very old. At times when the rain is falling, the house starts to leak. I really want to move but how can I, when I don't have house to move in. If I recipient this money I will build my house and start my own business.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Although we are going through lot of difficulties but I think God that my family are safe and healthy. I am very happy because, Givedirectly have come to improve my livelihood.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The money we earned from the coal is not enough to maintain my family and I'm not doing any business now to help my family. The house we live in is a family house and is very old, its leak whenever rain is falling. Getting money to build my own house and start a business is the challenges I am facing now.
