What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
Receiving this money means I will be able to build myself a house. I plan on doing this because like I said I am not sleeping comfortably rightnow due to small space of this house I am living in so I would build a bigger and better house for comfort and good rest. Then I want to buy a single goat so that if it breeds I would be able to sell it's offsprings whenever I am faced with problems that require money in my household in future. I also would go on and buy 5 bags of maize so that atleast me and my family have food to eat.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Waking up and being alive is the only source of joy I have and whenever I find a little bit of food to eat with my family that day I am happy.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Currently my challenge is lack of food. I only harvested a single bag of maize year since I didn't apply fertilizer in my field. As I am speaking to you that bag is already depleted and I have 4 people to feed, thus, me, my sister, my sister's child and my grandchild. Everyday I am worried about where and how I am going to get the food for us. The other challenge I am facing is poor housing. As you can see I sleep in this gowelo with my sister here and honestly it's not the comfort I'd like for myself as it is tiny to accomodate the two of us.
