What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
Receiving this money means that I will be able to buy 3 bags of fertilizer to apply in my maize field. I would do this so that I don't have food scarcity in my household next year for I believe I will have a bumper yield if I apply fertilizer in my field. Part of this transfer will be invested in my husband's agri-business so that it multiplies and brings in more money to be used for other household needs such as buying salt, soap and lotion and maybe alleviate our poverty as a household in the long run.
What is the happiest part of your day?
On the 27th last month, August 2022, I attended my sister's, Violet John, wedding in Mangulenje village and I was overjoyed to see my sister get married and I witnessing it.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Currently I only have a single challenge and that is lack of money to purchase fertilizer. As you can see it's almost rainy season and I need to start preparing for farming and I am always pausing when I think of where I am to find money to afford this item with the way they have raised the prices I don't think I will be able to afford it. This brings out a fear in me as I worry of how I will survive next year if I don't have enough food from my harvest, thus, if I don't apply fertilizer in my field.
