How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My plan was to change my leaking thatched roof, because every time when the rain falls my house always leaking. Due to that my children always getting sick from cold. That's why I decided to change my leaking thatched roof.But I never had the money to accomplish my plan. I'm a farmer with 8 children, life has been so hard on me and my family, to even get money to send my children to school used to be very difficult for me. But with the help from givedirectly, I have changed my leaking thatched roof to iron sheets roof, there's no more leakage on my roof, my children are all healthy and in school. I'm so happy that I was enrolled on this program.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirectly has done very well in my life and that of our village. Givedirectly has changed our entire village with so many new houses. Givedirectly has even empowered our life's. Givedirectly has done so many good things for us. Givedirectly was able to enrolled our entire village as well, there's nothing that givedirectly hasn't done well
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
When I received my last transfer, I bought additional building materials to complete my house project, I also paid my children school fees, I was able to paid the workmanship, I used part of my transfer to start a new business where in when givedirectly goes I will be able to support my family.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My first and second transfer was use for a new house construction materials like cement, sand, plant and Zinc. Part of my recent transfer was spent on my treatment at the Grand Bassa government hospital and the balance is in saving for the contractor payment.Thanks to the Givedirectly family for this opportunity.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I am happy and I appreciate the gift from Givedirectly.The process went well.The transfer brought joy to my family.I am satisfied because my life have improved and all of my children are in school.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
Through the transfer from Givedirectly, I was able to paid my hospital bill and saving the balance money for Contractor payment. Since I received the payment, My Life have changed and with the cash transfer now, I have bought my new house materials and awaiting the last transfer to start my construction.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Yes, My New goal is to roof my house with Zinc, My house roof was made from Thatches. During raining season my family and I suffered from leakages as the result of this roof, also making our house very wet and cold. I can safely say that my family and I will have a safe and warmth place to sleep, Because I was able to purchase Plank to start the first phase of the project. I am thankful for this assistance given to me by Givedirectly.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion GiveDirectly is a very good NGO, Because it gives poor families cash with out favoring a particular group of people, also beneficiaries decide on what to do with their transferred.And I don't know some of Givedirectly challenges.

My most recent transferred was used to purchased plank to give my house a more guarantee roof. My house roof was made from Thatches. During raining season my family and I suffered badly from the leakages. This cause our house to become very wet and cold, making my children to develop severe Cold related sicknesses With this financial help my family will be safe and warmth during the rainy season , Because I was able to purchase Plank and hire carpenter to start the project. I am thankful to GiveDirectly for this financial assistance.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
Before received this money things wasn't find with me and my family, i been thinking so that GiveDirectly will help us in this direction because life has not been good with us over years.By the help of god now i have received this money I'm so happy about it is like a surprise to me and my family,because this is the very first time to get this type of money from any NGO in Liberia.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my life is that I'm building a new house for my children my family is living good life now we are not getting hard time like before,I'm doing a new business and my family can eat on time this time. My life as changes greatly now I'm not really like before because of this money that i received from GiveDirectly programs.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
My most recent transfer I'm thinking of starting a new business and i went to build a new house for my children and I'm also awaiting the second transfer so that i can improving my business and finish my house,now my family and i we can eat on time my children are in good health now. I'm able to get my own business to run here so that my children wil not get hard time after this programs.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I want to make business but i don't have money now;. when i receive this money, i will make business. I am making farm right now because i dont have money to make business.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am because since i came with my children, with all of the hardship, God has been providing for us. Not a day we ever slept with hunger niether got seriously sick.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
We were in the city but things got difficult and we came back to this village. We decided to make farm this year inorder to make things easy. Therefore our major challenge is money. How to money to take care of our family.
