"Despite the fact that I am unemployed, I have ensured that my family doesn't lack any basic need. I have worked purposely(whether on my farm or as a casual labourer) to ensure that all of their needs are met. This for me is the greatest achievement I am proudest of. "

"There was heavy infestation of maize stalk disease in my farm for the past seven years and providing the stable food(ugali) for my family became very difficult. I had to buy maize for those years and this really drained my business capital. This is the biggest hardship I have ever experienced. "

"My parent's inability to pay for my secondary school education made me abscond schooling for one year as they hustle for money. I remember I could see my age-mates going to school and this made me feel uncomfortable. This for me is the biggest hardship I have ever experienced. "

"After I got married, I started a business of weaving ropes till I mastered the skill. Now I have been weaving ropes and selling them during auction/market days in my town. I use the income I receive from this business to sustain my family and as a result they have never lacked any basic needs. This for me is the greatest achievement I am proudest of. "

"The greatest achievement that i am proudest of is when I was finally able to construct a small house for my first born son. It had always disturbed me to see him going to the neighbours house to sleep over since we could not stay under one roof after he graduated into adulthood. I worked so hard to bring the house into completion and this made me really proud."
