"Receiving this money means that I shall be able to fulfil my lifetime dream of buying the saloon equipment, hire a shop in our centre and start working. I have not been able to do this because my husband earning from cane cutting could not raise enough money for both our food needs and capital. I believe this will enable me support my husband in paying our childrens school fees."

"Receiving this money means that I will be able to build a small kiosk and improve my stock, I believe doing this will attract more customers as opposed to selling from my house whereby I have not been getting much sales. Once I succeed in doing this I will eventually move the business to our local centre."

"Raising my chidren's school fees is the biggest hardship I have faced in my life.I have 8 children 2 in primary school,4 in secondary and 2 completed secondary waiting to joining college.I usually depend on jobs like digging, weeding and fencing other people's farms, this brings little earnings that are barely enough to pay my chidren's school fees, last year I even resorted to selling part of my land to raise their school fees. This has been a tall order and is giving me sleepless nights."

"I was diagnosed with malignant diabetes in the year 2014 and was admitted to Longisa District hospital for barely 2 weeks. I have since been on and off the hospital for regular check ups and severity monitoring. For close to four years now I have routinely reported to the hospital to purchase monthly medication for every single one of them. It is expensive! My worry is that my four children would not access quality education and social welfare now since we spend all our finances to cater for my monthly medical expenses. This is the biggest hardship I have faced in my life. "

This will also assist in generating of income because I will also plough other people's land for money. I will also build a spacious house so that my children can get a better place to sleep."

"My greatest desire has always been to own dairy cattle which will in turn produce milk for my family consumption as well as selling the rest to act as my source of income. This will help me pay school fees for my children with less difficulty. I will use this money to achieve all these."
